1. About This Notice
LegitReviewHub publishes reviews, investigations and warnings about online financial offers, including brokers, trading platforms, digital asset exchanges, mobile applications and investment groups promoted through messaging services. The editorial team operating the Website decides why and how Personal Data is processed and is therefore the controller under applicable data protection law.
We keep the amount of Personal Data we hold deliberately small. There are no user accounts and we build no marketing profiles. Most visitors pass through legitreviewhub.com without giving us anything beyond the technical signals any web server records.
2. Categories of Personal Data We Collect
The table below sets out what we collect, where it comes from, why we hold it and for how long. Retention periods run from the last activity linked to the record.
| Category | Source | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| Name or alias, email address, optional telephone number | From you, through the form or by email | Answering your message and keeping a record | 24 months |
| Message content and any documents you attach | From you | Understanding your enquiry and, with consent, preparing a summary for an adviser | 24 months |
| Internet protocol address, browser, operating system, referring page | Your device, automatically | Security, abuse prevention and fault diagnosis | 90 days |
| Pages viewed, time on page, scroll depth, approximate city | Analytics cookies, where permitted | Measuring which warnings readers find useful | 14 months |
| Advertising and cookie identifiers | Advertising technologies, where permitted | Measurement and interest based advertising | Set by the partner |
3. How and Why We Use Personal Data
We use Personal Data to answer enquiries, to keep the Website secure and working, to measure readership in the aggregate, to meet legal obligations, and to defend our work where a subject of an article disputes it. Under European and United Kingdom law our lawful bases are your consent for optional cookies and for any referral, our legitimate interests in publishing and in operating a secure Website, and compliance with legal obligations. We take no automated decisions about you that produce legal effects, and we do not sell Personal Data for money.
4. The Contact Form and Enquiries
The contact form exists so that people affected by the schemes we write about can reach the editorial team. You choose what to put in it. Please do not send card numbers, passwords, wallet seed phrases or identity documents through the form.
Submissions arrive as email in an inbox controlled by the editorial team and are written to a database on our hosting infrastructure. Access is limited to the few people who handle correspondence. If you would rather your message were deleted once we have replied, say so and we will act on it.
5. Referral to Independent Legal Advisers
Some enquiries are better handled by a qualified lawyer or regulated legal adviser who can assist with reports to regulators, police units and other authorities. Where that is so, we say so and ask whether you would like your enquiry passed on. Nothing leaves us without your agreement.
If you agree, we share only what the adviser needs in order to decide whether they can assist: your name, your contact details and a summary of the circumstances. Those advisers are separate practices, not part of LegitReviewHub, and once your details reach them they act as controllers in their own right under their own terms, which you should read before engaging anyone.
6. Cookies, Analytics and Advertising
Cookies are small files placed on your device. Strictly necessary cookies keep the Website upright and cannot be switched off. Analytics cookies tell us, in aggregate, which articles are read and where readers give up. Advertising cookies may appear on pages carrying advertising.
Do Not Sell or Share Signals and Global Privacy Control
Sharing Personal Data with advertising partners for cross context behavioural advertising can amount to a sale or share under certain United States laws even where no money changes hands. We honour the Global Privacy Control signal: if your browser transmits it, we treat that as a valid request to stop selling or sharing Personal Data linked to that browser, without asking you to identify yourself. The cookie control on the Website lets you withdraw consent at any time.
7. Notice to Individuals in Europe and the United Kingdom
Your Rights
If the General Data Protection Regulation or its United Kingdom equivalent applies to you, you have the right to:
- Access a copy of the Personal Data we hold about you.
- Rectification of inaccurate or incomplete Personal Data.
- Erasure where there is no continuing reason for us to keep it.
- Restriction while a dispute about accuracy or lawfulness is resolved.
- Objection to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Portability of what you gave us, in a machine readable format.
- Withdrawal of consent, without affecting what was lawful beforehand.
How to Exercise Them
Write to contact@legitreviewhub.com with enough detail for us to find your record. We answer within one month and may extend by two further months for complex requests, telling you why. There is no charge. If you remain dissatisfied you may complain to the supervisory authority where you live or work.
8. Notice to California Residents
Your Rights
California residents may ask what Personal Data has been collected, used, disclosed, sold or shared; delete Personal Data collected from them, subject to statutory exceptions; correct inaccurate Personal Data; opt out of any sale or sharing; limit the use of sensitive Personal Data; and receive no discriminatory treatment for exercising a right. An authorised agent may act for you with written proof of authority.

Submitting a Request
Send requests to contact@legitreviewhub.com or use the contact form. We verify by matching the details you give against what we hold and by replying to the address originally used. We respond within 45 days and may extend once by a further 45 days.
9. Service Providers and Other Disclosures
We use a short list of vendors: a hosting company, a transactional email service, a content delivery and security network, and an analytics provider. Each acts on documented instructions under written terms. Otherwise we disclose Personal Data only to independent legal advisers with your consent, to our own professional advisers, to authorities where the law compels us, and to a successor if the Website changes hands.
10. International Transfers
Our infrastructure and several vendors sit outside Europe and the United Kingdom, including in the United States. Where Personal Data leaves those territories we rely on the Standard Contractual Clauses with the United Kingdom Addendum, or on an adequacy decision covering the destination. We assess each destination for the risk of state access and apply encryption in transit and at rest as a further safeguard. Ask us at contact@legitreviewhub.com about the safeguard covering a particular transfer.
11. Security of Personal Data
Traffic to and from legitreviewhub.com is encrypted. Administrative access needs strong credentials and a second factor. Backups are encrypted and held apart from the live system. We restrict who may read enquiry correspondence and review that list periodically. No system is perfect and we make no absolute promise about information crossing the open internet, but we will notify you and the relevant authority where a breach is likely to put your rights at risk.
12. Children
The Website is written for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from anyone under sixteen. If you believe a child has sent us something, write to contact@legitreviewhub.com and we will delete it promptly.
13. Updates and How to Reach Us
We revise this Notice when our practices, vendors or the law change. The version in force during 2026 is the one on this page, dated with its most recent revision. Material changes are flagged on the Website for a reasonable period. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised Notice.
Questions, complaints and requests go to contact@legitreviewhub.com. If your message concerns an article published during 2026 or earlier, quote the title so that LegitReviewHub can find the right record quickly.
